Position:  Marketing Assistant & Event Coordinator

Type:         Regular Full Time Hourly (eligible for overtime)

Location: Lake Elmo (On-site only)

Hours:     8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week; Position requires occasional evening and weekend hours to prepare and/or be present for bank related events.

Reports to:  Vice President, Marketing

Primary Objective of the Position:

Supports the Vice President/Marketing in planning, organizing, and implementing marketing strategies, with a special focus on coordinating and executing events that engage customers, employees, and the community.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED required. Associate’s degree (A.A.) degree preferred.
  • One or more years of recent experience as an administrative assistant, marketing assistant, or event coordinator in business environment preferred.
  • One or more years of recent experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required. Experience with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, event management/marketing software a plus.
  • Position requires a current drivers’ license and occasional use of your personal vehicle to travel to Oakdale and Stillwater locations.  Also, for local Bank related errands and events.  (Typically, 20–30-mile radius from the Lake Elmo location).  Mileage Reimbursement is available.

 

Major Responsibilities

  • Event Coordination: Plan, organize, and execute special events for customers, employees, and the community. Manage all logistics including venue selection, catering, marketing materials, invitations, registration, and staffing. Examples include customer appreciation days, financial literacy workshops, community festivals, and employee recognition events.
  • Marketing Support: Assist in the development and implementation of digital and traditional marketing campaigns, including e-newsletters, social media, and website updates.
  • Content Management: Maintain and update content for SharePoint and the bank’s website to ensure timely and accurate information is available to customers and staff.
  • Communications Schedule: Maintain and update the Lake Elmo Bank Communications Schedule and Collateral Catalog to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Donation Requests: Process all customer and community donation requests as approved by the VP Marketing.
  • Corporate Merchandise: Manage the corporate merchandise program, including purchasing, inventory management, and employee sales.
  • Budget & Expense Tracking: Manage Marketing Department general ledger accounts, process invoices, and track expenses related to marketing and events.
  • Proofreading & Editing: Provide detailed proofreading and editing for all print and digital projects.
  • Administrative Support: Provide full administrative support to VP Marketing and VP Human Resources as needed.
  • Independent Work: Work independently and structure time efficiently to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Other Duties: Perform various duties as assigned to support the marketing and event objectives of the bank.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong grammar, proofreading, and telephone skills.
  • Customer service: Excellent customer service skills and a helpful, professional approach when working with customers, employees, and community partners.
  • Prioritization and time management: Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet reasonable deadlines.
  • Technology proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, with strong computer and typing skills and the ability to adapt to new technology.
  • Problem solving: Strong independent problem-solving skills and sound judgment when completing tasks and resolving issues.
  • Growth mindset: Desire to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities. 
 

Salary Range:     $24.42 -$36.70 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

Position:    Full-Time Teller/Customer Service Representative (On site)

Type:          Regular Full Time Hourly (eligible for overtime)

Hours:        8:30 a.m.-5:15 p.m. Monday-Friday; Position includes a      rotating Saturday schedule from 8:45 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

We are looking for candidates who are friendly, professional, dependable, courteous and outgoing with excellent customer service skills. Previous banking experience is not required. Customer service and/or cash handling experience is helpful but not required. Paid Training will be provided. Work location will be in Lake Elmo, Stillwater or Oakdale depending on business needs. 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous Customer Service Experience.

 

Major Responsibilities Include:

  • Processing assigned customer transactions in a timely, accurate manner, consistently follows established procedures, and helping to maintain a positive, favorable image of the Bank as a responsible business operation.  
  • Provide internal and external customers personal service by striving to meet their needs in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive work environment by working cooperatively and effectively as a member of the Lake Elmo Bank team.

Position:    Full-Time Personal Banker (On-site only)

Type:          Regular Full Time Hourly (eligible for overtime)

Hours:        8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday (1 hour lunch); Position            includes a rotating Saturday schedule from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

 

Location: Must be willing to rotate as needed between all of our offices located in Lake Elmo, Stillwater and Oakdale.
 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a College or university preferred; or 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous banking experience preferred, but will train.
  • Previous retail, customer service and/or cash handling experience highly preferred. 

Major Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing customers personal service second to none by striving to meet their needs in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Contributing to a positive and productive work environment by working cooperatively and effectively as a member of a specific work group as well as a member of the entire Lake Elmo Bank team.
  • Supporting the community by active participation in worthwhile community projects.
  • Working effectively with each customer in the Bank to establish and enhance relationships, identify individual needs (loan and deposit) and tailor a set of services designed to meet those needs. 
  • Assisting customers, by phone and in person, to respond to inquiries, execute transactions and resolve customer service issues.   
  • Fully understand all Bank products, effectively explain products to customers, and make appropriate referrals to Consumer lenders, Home Equity lenders, Mortgage lenders, Investment and Trust Department.
  • Assisting customers with service problems to maintain goodwill and personally resolve problems always working to retain relationships whenever possible.  Or direct the customer to the appropriate individual who can resolve the issue.
  • Actively identify customer needs and preferences and communicates observations to Supervisor and/or Retail Banking Manager.
  • Providing assistance with teller transactions and consumer loans as needed.
