Position:                Compliance Audit Control Officer
Location:               Lake Elmo Office
Type:                      Regular Full Time Salaried, Monday-Friday
 
The Compliance/Audit Control Officer is responsible for administering and maintaining the Bank’s compliance and internal audit programs.
 
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Preferred candidate will have a banking or legal background; Bachelor’s Degree or 3-5 years related experience.
  • Demonstrate solid judgment and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.
Major Areas of Accountability:
  • Effectively communicates internally and externally; assists in communications and presentations with senior management, committees, and other financial institutions.
  • Acts as a resource to all bank personnel in regard to compliance related activities.
  • Keeps informed and knowledgeable of existing, new or changed compliance regulations, laws and trends.
  • Collaborates with management to develop, administer and monitor programs that ensure the Bank’s compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Responsible for scheduling and coordinating compliance audits and reporting to the Board of Directors.
  • Provides periodic written reports concerning the effectiveness of compliance and audit programs.
  • Reviews and appraises policies and procedures for safeguarding the Bank’s assets.
  • Collaborates with appropriate managers or supervisors to develop new or revised internal audit policies, methods, and procedures as needed or requested.
  • Prepares written reports on internal audit reviews for the Board of Directors, including findings, analysis, conclusions and recommendations.
  • Maintains the Bank’s audit and exception tracking report and provides quarterly status reports to Bank management and the Board of Directors.

Position:               Part Time Teller/Receptionist

Location:              Lake Elmo Office

Type:                     Regular Part Time, Hourly 15-25 hours per week. 

Position requires working an 8 hour shift between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday-Friday as well as on call rotation on Saturdays and occasional scheduled Saturdays (9 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
Education and Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous teller/cash handling experience helpful, but we are willing to train.
  • Previous experience in a customer service environment required.
Major Area’s of Accountability
  • Receptionist duties include ensuring that each interaction begins favorably by greeting customers in person and over the telephone and effectively ascertaining needs and making a referral to the appropriate co-worker. Also performing various typing and giving clerical support as needed for the Retail Banking Group.
  • Teller responsibilities include processing assigned customer transactions in a timely, accurate manner, consistently following established procedures, and helping to maintain a positive, favorable image of the Bank as a responsible business operation.
  • Provide internal and external customers personal service by striving to meet their needs in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive work environment by working cooperatively and effectively as a member of the Lake Elmo Bank team.
  • Support the community by active participation in worthwhile community projects.
