Personal Banker

Lake Elmo Bank, an independent community bank, has an immediate opening for a bank career oriented Full-Time Personal Banker.

Type: Regular Full Time Hourly (eligible for overtime)

Hours: 8-5 Monday-Friday (1-hour lunch) or 8:30-5 Monday-Friday (30-minute lunch); Saturday rotation required.

The Personal Banker is responsible for efficiently and professionally promoting, explaining and selling Bank services to new and existing customers. Duties include, but are not limited to tellering, account opening and customer service.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a College or university preferred; or 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous banking experience preferred.
  • Current underwriting experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Exemplary, positive can-do attitude and work ethic.
  • Ability to independently problem solve.

Trust Officer

Lake Elmo Bank, an independent community bank in the east metro Twin Cities area, has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Trust Officer located at our Oakdale, MN office.

Type: Regular Full Time Salaried; Monday-Friday

The Trust Officer is responsible for tax reporting, assisting with the preparation of tax returns, managing trust investments and assisting with the administration of trust accounts.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Preferred candidate will have an accounting, finance or legal background; Bachelor’s Degree or post graduate education or two to four years related experience.
  • Banking experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a financial and/or investment advising role preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to manage trust investments and prepare tax reports.
  • Ability to perform analysis of financial statements and operational reports for businesses and properties held in trusts.
  • Attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Position requires good time management and problem solving skills, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Provide internal and external customers personal service by striving to meet their needs in a timely and friendly manner.

Part-time Teller – Days

Lake Elmo Bank, an Independent Community Bank, has immediate openings for Part-time tellers.  We are looking for candidates who are friendly, professional, dependable, courteous and outgoing with excellent customer service skills.  Ability to effectively handle financial transactions.  Attention to detail is required.  Previous teller/cash handling experience helpful, but we are willing to train.

Hours scheduled will be between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday.  Position includes rotating Saturday schedule from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, as well as possible office rotation between our three offices.  The part-time position is approximately 26-28 hours/3-4 days per week.
