LEB Stillwater Office Celebrates 11th Anniversary

We opened our LEB – Stillwater Office eleven years ago today. This additional office made banking more convenient for many of our existing customers, but it also gave us the opportunity to meet so many more Stillwater residents and business owners. We are proud to be a part of the Stillwater community and we thank you for your continued banking relationship.

Paula Beedle wins Tradition of Service Award!

Lake Elmo Bank is committed to its mission of providing personal service second to none. Annually, the Bank recognizes one employee who exemplifies this tradition of service in his/her daily routine.

The Board of Directors selects the recipient based on nominations from bank employees. Aside from recognizing the employee’s commitment to service, the Board also considers the individual’s commitment to the community as shown through his/her community participation.

This year’s recipient, Paula Beedle, joins a list of 19 past winners. Paula has worked at Lake Elmo Bank since 2007 as a Credit Administration Lead Assistant.

“What an honor to be nominated by your peers,” says Beedle. “This award is another great example of how Lake Elmo Bank really cares about its employees.”

Lake Elmo Bank employees gathered for their 20th annual Employee Appreciation Week Breakfast on April 26th, 2017 where Paula was presented with the award – and $1,500.

Winning Bagels, Winning Smiles!

LEB employees were treated to winning bagels – compliments of First State Bank & Trust in Bayport.

This 4th annual friendly competition between the two community banks during Food Drive Month raised a combined total of $21,511. Lake Elmo Bank employees and customers raised $11,857 which included a matching donation of $4,218 from a local Stillwater business. The winning bank receives bagel breakfast delivered by the “losing” bank president – all in good fun.

All food and money was donated directly to Valley Outreach as part of their Feed the Family campaign in March.

Thanks to all who donated! Such a tremendous response for such a worthwhile community program.

Important MasterCard Changes Affecting Your LEB Debit Card

Effective immediately, MasterCard and VISA have introduced Automatic Biller Updater. Your MasterCard Debit Card is automatically enrolled by MasterCard to update participating merchants that you have authorized recurring payments to be deducted from your card.

What does this mean to me and my LEB Debit Card?

When your LEB Debit Card expires,  MasterCard will automatically update the new expiration date on your debit card with the participating merchant.  Also, if your card is closed as a result of fraud or potential fraud risk and the checking account number attached to the card remains open, MasterCard will automatically update the merchant with your new card information.

At this time, you are not able to opt out of this added service.  If you have a recurring payment set up on your debit card and you wish to stop this auto-payment, you must contact the merchant directly and revoke your authorization.  For more information, click here.
